Burning Up.

Jonah 4:1-11.

As we reach the end of summer and transition into fall, it seems like it has been a long hot summer as the smoke from the wildfires still hanging on our horizon attests to. But it has also been a long hot summer in other ways as we all seem so angry. How should we act when we are “burning up?” Find out as we conclude our last sermon in the series looking at Jonah called “On the run.”

Most of us like our lives to be manageable, and we try to keep them that way, but sometimes life gets out of hand are we are “In over our heads.” This Sunday we continue our four-part series on the book of Jonah called “On the run,” and we will look at why it might not be as bad as it seems.
